To enter into Operating and Baseline Agreements with Gloucester BID Ltd to regulate the administration of the Business Improvement District and establish responsibility for the provision of services therein.
Reasons for the decision:
To give effect to the Cabinet’s decision of 17th May 2017, and the Council’s policy of supporting the Business Improvement District. Legal agreements are required to properly regulate the relationship with the Council and the BID Company, particularly as the Council is responsible for administering the collection of the BID levy.
Alternative options considered:
None – The Business Improvement Districts (England) Regulations 2004 stipulate the processes to be followed in the establishment and administration of a BID.
