Reasons for the decision:
The property is eligible for the funding under the scope of the Townscape Heritage Initiative and the applicant has completed the application process as set out in the scheme guidance.
Alternative options considered:
- Not to consider the property for a grant offer. As the property is within the THI boundary, is an historic building and the works specified are eligible, there is no reason not to offer a grant.
· To offer a higher level of grant. This is not possible as the maximum amount available for vacant floorspace, under a conservation deficit appraisal has been offered.
