Reasons for the decision:
Historically the Council have agreed funding for advice agencies via an SLA which has been extended annually due to the end date coinciding with the Covid 19 pandemic. It has since been extended annually. Due to the ongoing impact of the cost of living crisis the advice needs of the City have and will continue to be high. It is notin theinterests ofour residents,the councilor ourpartners tomake changesto services in timesof unprecedented demand so the funding from the council will be maintained.
