To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 17 January 2022

47.1     Councillor Wilson pointed to the narrative outlined in minute item 33.2 of the previous meeting. He asked whether the possibility of hiring a ‘kickstarter’ apprentice to examine smaller VAT claims was still ongoing. The Financial Services Manager confirmed that this had not yet been followed up on, owing to more pressing priorities but could be investigated at a laterdate.

47.2   In response to a query from Councillor Wilson regarding minute item 35.1, the  Financial Services Manager confirmed that the report for the Benefit Subsidy Audit had now been completed and that a report would come before the AuditCommittee.

RESOLVED – that the minutes of the meeting held on 17 January 2022 were approved and signed as a correct record by the Chair.
